Pension System: the Inevitability of Changes
The principles of pension reform that has started in Russia in 2002 ã. were not the same because of the social, economic and demographic changes. Nevertheless for the time being the situation in the pension sphere can’t be determined as stable. The author analyses the main factors clarifying the current characteristics of the pension system in this country as well as the decisions made by the federal government. The future rise of the responsibility of the employed for their future incomes after reaching the pension age is considered to be inevitable.

Problems of the Pensions System in Agrarian Sector (by example of Krasnodarsky Kray)
The paper analyses the pensions system in the agrarian sector by example of the Krasnodarsky Kray where low wages and a significant share of part-time employment are observed as well as a high share of early retirement and a large number of workers having «shadow wages» (declared partially). We offer that the pensions system in the agrarian sector should be supported by special grants designated for farmers and workers of the agrarian sector to raise their pensions to the average national level.
