Be or not to Be an Industrial-Innovation Center at the Far-East.
The Russian Far East faces new challenges during market reforms. An adequate answer will be formation of a permanent population at the south of the region, foreign trade utilization as an impulse for economy restructuring, zones of intensive development creation on the basis of territory-production clusters. Large industrial centers may form a fundament for such territory-production clusters, and Komsomolsk-on-Amur is one of these industrial centers.
